What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit them. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site owners.
There are two broad categories of cookies:
- Session cookies are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you manually delete them.
- First-party cookies are set by the website you are visiting.
- Third-party cookies are set by a domain other than the one you are visiting, typically by an embedded service or widget.
Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for Inbox Insignia to function correctly. They enable core features such as authentication and session management. Because they are essential to the operation of the platform, they cannot be disabled.
- Supabase authentication session cookies (sb-*-auth-token)— these cookies maintain your logged-in session so you do not need to re-authenticate on every page load.
- These cookies do not track you across other websites.
- Duration: session-based, refreshed automatically while you remain active.
- No consent is required under GDPR for these cookies as they are strictly necessary for the service to function.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand how our platform is used and to improve the user experience. Vercel Analytics is a privacy-friendly analytics solution that works without cookies.
- Vercel Analytics is cookieless and sets no cookies on your device.
- No personally identifiable information is collected.
- No cross-site tracking occurs.
- All data is aggregated and anonymized.
- This is not cookie-based tracking.
Payment Processing
When you interact with our billing or checkout pages, our payment processor Stripe may set cookies as part of the payment flow.
- Stripe may set cookies during the checkout and payment flow to enable secure transactions.
- These cookies are required for secure payment processing and fraud prevention.
- Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant, the highest level of payment security certification.
- For details, see Stripe's cookie policy.
Third-Party Cookies
Inbox Insignia uses no advertising, marketing, social media, or behavioral tracking cookies. We do not participate in ad networks or data exchanges, and we never sell or share cookie data with any third party for advertising purposes.
The only third-party cookies that may appear on our platform are those set by Stripe during the payment processing flow, as described above.
How to Manage Cookies
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically block, delete, or limit cookies from your browser's privacy or security preferences.
- You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.
- Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies (such as authentication cookies) will prevent you from signing in to Inbox Insignia.
- Browser cookie management pages change frequently — search for "[your browser name] manage cookies" for the most up-to-date instructions.
- You can also manage your preferences through our cookie consent banner when it is displayed.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on our website prior to the changes taking effect.
